6 FPL Budget Enablers
Here are 6 budget enablers that will score points this season

Wan-Bissaka & Diouf - £4.5m
Wan-Bissaka is, unsurprisingly, the most popular defender in the game currently at just over 30% ownership.
He played 36 out of 38 games last season and provided more assists than any of the other £4.5m defenders.
Diouf has been brought in this summer for around £20m and is rated very highly.
He’s a very attacking LWB that will get forward at any opportunity and has already shown glimpses of this in pre-season.
West Ham’s defensive numbers weren’t great last season but with defensive contributions and attacking threat, these two wing backs have multiple routes to points this year.
Elliot Anderson - £5.5m
I’ve mentioned him a lot in my pre-season content and for good reason.
He played 37 out of 38 games and was second behind only Caicedo for defensive contribution points last season.
Forest have the best opening fixtures of any team and Elanga’s departure could also mean he is on some set pieces.
All of these reasons make him an absolute bargain at just £5.5m this season.
Granit Xhaka - £5.0m
If you want to spend even less on a midfielder then Granit Xhaka could be a reliable option.
He recently made the move from Leverkusen to Sunderland and looks to be a starter for the promoted side.
Similar to Anderson, he could be on some set pieces but more importantly, he will likely pick up quite a few defensive contribution points.
For just £5.0m, he should be a reliable bench option for our teams.
Other good £5.0m mid options are Baleba, Onana and Sarr.
Niclas Füllkrug - £6.0m
£6.0m isn’t as cheap as some of the midfield and defender options but the forward pool doesn’t offer many options for £5.5m or lower.
The German international was bought by West Ham last summer but struggles with injuries and only managed 3 goals last season.
He’s now fully fit and already has 2 goals in pre-season whilst playing up front with Bowen.
West Ham have also just signed Callum Wilson who may share some minutes with Füllkrug but at just £6.0m, he may be worth the punt.
Beto - £5.5m
I mentioned the lack of budget forward options above and Beto is the only potentially viable option under £6.0m.
He was impressive when called upon last season and managed to score 8 goals in total.
Everton have however signed a new striker in Thierno Barry so Beto’s minutes aren’t completely set in stone.
Beto’s has played more minutes than Barry in pre-season so should be the first choice to begin with at least which makes him a nice budget option at just £5.5m.
