8 FPL Differentials to Target
Here are 8 differentials that will help you win your mini-league

Murillo - £5.5m - 5.0%
Murillo’s teammates Aina and Milenković are in 17% and 9% of teams respectively but I think the Brazilian is a better pick.
Forest have done well to keep hold of both Murillo and Milenković with a lot of other Premier League CBs leaving their clubs.
They were joint 2nd in the league last season for clean sheets with 13 so it’s no surprise that their defenders are popular picks.
Not only that but Murillo ended the season with the most bonus points of any defender in the game.
We know that this year marks the introduction of defensive contribution points and Murillo is great for these too.
He was joint 3rd among defenders for DC points last season so I think he’s the best Forest defender to pick.
Joachim Andersen - £4.5m - 1.5%
The £4.5m defenders are very popular and for good reason, there is some great value at this price point.
One that is going overlooked is Joachim Andersen who is also good for defensive contribution points.
Last season he averaged 9.53 defensive contributions per game and would have racked up an extra 26 points based on this.
Fulham’s defence also massively underperformed their expected numbers.
They were 6th in the league for xGC but 12th for actual goals conceded.
Andersen could be one of the better £4.5m defenders this season and I think he’s being slightly overlooked as he’s in just 1.5% of teams.
Antoine Semenyo - £7.0m - 4.9%
The Bournemouth attack had somewhat of a breakout year last season with Kluivert, Semenyo, Dango and Evanilson all profiting.
They ranked 4th for xG behind just Liverpool, City and Chelsea.
Semenyo was right at the heart of this as he played 37 out of 38 games and picked up 11 goals and 7 assists.
What stands out more though is that only Salah and Palmer took more shots than Semenyo last season.
People are probably put off by the GW1 fixture of LIV (A) but from GW2, Bournemouth have a nice run of fixtures so Semenyo could be a good option at just £7.0m.
Pape Matar Sarr - £5.0m - 2.2%
The Spurs midfielder was far from impressive FPL-wise last season with 3 goals and 2 assists from 36 appearances.
His attacking underlying numbers weren’t great either with just 3.68 xG and 0.69 xA all season.
However, with a new manager in place, he does stand to benefit from a more attacking role this season.
In pre-season he has scored 3 goals in 4 games and in Spurs’ recently friendly he was playing as a number 10.
Though he probably won’t break any records or score a ridiculous amount of points, at just £5.0m he could be a nice 5th midfielder option in your team.
Jhon Arias - £5.5m - 1.1%
Jhon Arias is Wolves’ new signing from Fluminese.
He plays as an attacking midfielder and impressed during the Club World Cup.
In Fluminese’s opening game he got 1 goal, 1 assists and created the most chances of any player at the tournament.
Arias should fill Cunha’s shoes and be the creative force for Wolves this season and is nicely priced at just £5.5m.
Niclas Füllkrug - £6.0m - 2.5%
The German international had a pretty disappointing debut season for the Hammers with 3 goals from 18 appearances.
He is now fully fit and has had a good pre season.
West Ham have managed to keep hold of most of their big players and have brought in a LWB in Diouf that has a fantastic delivery.
This all sets up for Füllkrug to have some decent service this year so I expect him to improve on his output from last season.
Jørgen Strand Larsen - £6.5m - 5.7%
Unlike Füllkrug, Strand Larsen had a fantastic debut season in the Premier League managing 14 goals and 4 assists.
Of course, Cunha’s departure could mean less service for Strand Larsen but hopefully Arias fills that void.
People are probably put off by Wolves’ GW1 fixtures against City but similarly to Bournemouth, from GW2 they have a nice run.
With Cunha leaving, JSL could also now be on penalties so could be good value at £6.5m.
Igor Thiago - £6.0m - 1.2%
Brentford signed striker Igor Thiago last summer after he scored 18 goals in 34 games for Club Brugge.
He spent most of last year injured but made a few sub appearances towards the end of the season.
He’s now fit and has started 3 games in pre-season so far, scoring in one of them.
With Mbeumo gone and Wissa on the way out, Igor Thiago will be Brentford’s starting striker.
Mbeumo leaving means that Brentford also need a new penalty taker and Thiago 8 of his 10 at Brugge so could assume that role.
Brentford have been gutted with Frank, Norgaard, Flekken, Mbeumo and now Wissa leaving but at £6.0m, Thiago could be a nice option if he’s on pens.
